Ruby Diamond (Dolly Parton) is a singer and doesn’t care much about anyone else except herself. As the fate would have it she dies in a road accident. As her spirit parts from her body, she meets St. Peter. Christmas is near and St. Peter has his own agenda to forward. He forms a contract with Ruby. According to the terms of the contract Ruby would be sent to earth again and is charged with the mission to unite a family.
