Storkcraft Cribs come with a mechanism that allows the front portion of the crib to move vertically up and down. The mechanism allows the parents to lower the front to lay the babies inside and then reposition and lock the front so that baby may not fall down. However some 110 reports were filed complaining that the locking mechanism failed to hold the front and the lock that keeps it at its position easily came lose. The result is that babies become trapped between the frond and the mattress or the floor of the crib.
