Chris Hansen is most well known for his role on the “To Catch A Predator” show. The show is involved with catching potential sexual predators that prey on children by posing as children and luring them into a trap they created for themselves. The predators generally try to contact and initiate sex with children. They are arrested by the police on national television.

The quake epicenter was four miles south-southeast from Christchurch, New Zealand, on the nation’s south island. Local media reports there have been strong aftershocks and power outages throughout the city.

Christchurch is New Zealand’s second largest city with a population of approximately 372,000.
